Recount Results: Kimber Victorious
The results of the recount in a contested ANC race are in and Alan Kimber has defeated incumbant Anthony Rivera 213 to 198 (so Kimber actually picked up 13 votes in the recount).
It will be great to have someone with your energy and integrity on the ANC. I look forward to the improvement(s) in the neighborhood that will surely result.
This is great news. I think ANC 6A and 6C have a good chance of working together on H Street issues again. With all the new development coming to H Street, cooperation between the ANCs is a must.
Well if it's still just an indictment then he's not been found guilty. On the other hand, the evidence that came out in the news was enough to convince me. It will be nice to have an ANC rep who isn't under that cloud. It would be even nicer if it weren't still the case that half of the voters don't give a rat's ass.
