I have on good authority that this is going to happen. My neighbor spoke to the workers, who indicated that they were boarding it up in preparation of doing major renovation of the interior.
Plan (as described) is for a coffee shop with 6-8 outdoor tables. This is a great development for Anne Phelp's SMD.
I saw them doing work yesterday and wondered about this. I've been joking with my roommate how convenient it would be for there to be a coffeeshop/restaurant in that space, and now it looks like that might happen!
wow. i have been thinking about how great it would be to do something like that in this space for the last year adn a half. as a neighbor i am thoroughly thrilled to see this is going to happen!

Yesterday some workers nailed plywood sheets over all the windows at G.W. Tailor Shop, so I think your assumption about the location is correct.

Ooh, that will be so nice! That's such a great location, it's a shame that it's been deserted.

I've been waiting since 2003 for something, anything, to go into that space.
I saw them touring it and drawing up the original plans for this over a year ago...
I hope this progresses smoothly and quickly. And I will patronize the #&!! out of it.
