If you haven't yet hammered out your V-Day plans you'll be happy to read that SOVA invites you all to enjoy the evening as they play host to SpeakeasyDC's Valentine's Day Story Social, with live musical performances by Stripmall Ballads. The even runs from 8-10pm and the cover is $10 at the door. SOVA is located at 1359 H Street.

Let me be the first to say that the cover of $10 all goes to SpeakeasyDC. That's what they charge for all of their events. And they're hugely popular. I just wanted to put that out there so that you don't think we'll be charging for all of our special events. Occasionally we'll have events where the artist or hosting organization will need to charge a small sum to cover their own marketing and other related cost.
Hope you all can make it. It should be a really fun event.

do they have a liquor license yet?
Not yet, hopefully soon. Even a stipulated license takes some time.

Actually, I wouldn't be surprised to see SOVA have its liquor license by 2/14. I know they were expecting a February start to libations.
