I recently heard about an upcoming show [Saturday night], at the Rock and Roll Hotel. At least one of the members is neighborhood local, and based on their website [where you can hear the songs], it seems worth a visit. The music is what I would consider rustic or rockabilly, or just plain rock depending on the song [please judge for yourself]. If I seem to be using lots of brackets recently, it's because I had a somewhat recent tea/keyboard incident and I am now forced to cut and paste excessively for non-letter marks [I'm lazy, ok]. At any rate, Bourbon Dynasty plays along with Studly Moses, Free Lobster Buffet, and CTC.
The show starts at 9:30 and the cover is $10. Bourbon Dynasty promises free cds.

Bourbon Dynasty recently opened for Buck Forty Nine at the Red & Black. If you like that alternative country sound, be sure to check out BFN next time they're at the Red & Black. One member lives a couple blocks south of H, and they're always a fun band to see.
