Yeah, saw the cleaning equipment being pulled outta there the other day. Man, some of that stuff looked like it was from another century. The one on 11th is Meridian I think. That's the one we use locally...seems like they do good work.
yeah, madison. i recently gave them a try. they actually were better than capitol, in my opinion. they got out a stain in an overcoat i had. quick good work.
Ok, this is a bit off-topic, but it *is* dry-cleaner related: can anyone tell me what's going on with the newly vacant space on the east end of Lincoln Park that used to be a dry cleaner?

Sorry, what? Dry cleaners provide a useful service and having them nearby is quite convenient. What's the delight in losing them?
I've heard stories about some places not being good neighbors or businesspeople and that is a perfectly fair complaint on an individual level, but I don't see how one can stretch that as to take delight in "all these" places closing.

Two of my shirts came back from Madison with tears in the arm that weren't there before. I now go to Smile Cleaners.
That's funny. Smile cleaners returned one of my shirts with a rip in the arm.
