The new bison tartar on the menu is absolutely delicious! When we tried it, Teddy told us about everything that was in it and ended by saying "I don't trust raw eggs, but I trust my bison guy." I can totally see why - the quality is terrific, and this recipe with high quality olive oil and capers really shows it off.

I haven't been there in a while, but have GM's beer prices gone down a bit? Good to know if it has.

I haven't been in a while either... I LOVE the food. LOVE it. But we've struck out three-times service wise. I just hate being ignored for 30-40 minutes. I mean, at least say hello! Looking the customer in the eye and saying, "I'll be back with you soon," is SOOOOO much better than intentionally avoiding eye-contact and rushing by, obviously in the weeds (able to chalk it up to, new staff, inexperienced... the first couple times. But after a while... I don't know.) Throw me a bone! I don't need you to pretend we're at TGI-Friday's and like sing me a birthday song or something-- a simple "Hey, would you like to look at the menu while I get caught up?" would be excellent. Terrible service... Just. Terrible. (SUPER sad about it, too because I love the food. I hope someone will tell me it's gotten better. I really want to go back.)

I say then grow a pair and go back. I have been several times, and had less than fantastic service but it wasn't poor enough to keep me form going back, again, and again. if you love the food so much, then go back. Poor service should warrant a less than adequate tip. You shouldn't allow it to stop you from patronizing great eats. I just wonder if your standards are ridiculously high for service, and ultimatley posting unnecesarily negative comments.

I don't think my standards are too high. All I'm asking for is a simple greeting. I'm willing to sit at the bar for 30 minutes without my drink or food order being taken as long as the bartender says "Hey." Don't think that's too much to expect, really. In fact, I think that's a pretty low standard.

Also, sounds like a pretty unique experience since I have never seen that happen in over a half dozen trips there. Most of those at extremely busy times. Anyways, stay away if you choose, just means easier to get a table for me.
