H STREET CHILDREN’S BOUTIQUE AND SPA TO HOST BOOK READING PARTY AND ICE CREAM SOCIAL
WASHINGTON, DC, JUNE 28, 2008: On July 12th, 3-4pm, Spoiled and Rotten Children’s Boutique and Spa, will host its first Book Reading Party and Ice Cream Social at its 1204 H Street, NE, location. The featured author will be Uncle E, one of the most exciting authors of children’s stories. Kids will not only enjoy the stories but also free ice cream or water ice, complimentary of Philadelphia Water Ice Factory. The event is open to the public but space is limited, parents are asked to RSVP to kbronson29@aol.com or call the store @ 202-398-5437.
Uncle E, a poet and storyteller, is the author of The Adventures of Diggle, Boogie & LoLo (www.dbladventures.com). Diggle, Boogie and LoLo are the three main characters of this creative unique book series and who are also the author's children who will participate in the storytelling. The series is based on the philosophy that reading is fundamental and can be fun. The Adventures of Diggle, Boogie & LoLo presents young readers with an educational reading experience, featuring amusing stories in poetic format with character building principles. “It's Dr. Seuss meets the Huxtables.”
Spoiled and Rotten, owned by Khadijah Bronson, is one the newest businesses on the H Street, NE corridor. The boutique puts a twist on shopping for the little ones by offering a spa experience for kids. While shopping, little boys can get their faces painted and the little girls can get a mini-pedicure and a mini-manicure. The atmosphere of the boutique is as fun and bright as the décor, with adorable child-sized sofas. The boutique has been featured in the Voice on the Hill, twice in the Hill Rag, and Baby Loves Disco.

the article is posted below. I also thought it was a good article. My photo has occasionally appeared in local papers [including the Post]. I'm not so anonymous ever since the ANC thing.
Hopefully we can convince people to be respectful [but not avoid important issues] in their comments.
I think this is a good idea and I would like to attend but does anyone know why she changed the time?
She was getting responses from people saying the earlier time was falling during nap time.
