An update on the soccer meet-up at the rec center at 10th and G-
It looks like we have a good number of people interested in coming out tonight, which is great. I hope this turns into a regular event and more people come out as word spreads. My hope is to do this every Wednesday night during the Summer. As time goes on, hopefully the group will grow even larger. I think there are others interested (including some of the neighborhood kids), but they want to see that other people are actually out there first. Tonight can be a good start, even if we just wind up kicking the ball around.
Please feel free to bring friends and neighbors. All skill levels are welcome.
I look forward to meeting all of you. If not tonight, some other time.
