I have also seen a further report that the male victim was 17 and the female victim 15.

On Sunday night at aproximately 1930 hours a male subject entered the 1200 block of Simms Place and shot a black male in the back and a female in the leg. He ran from the scene to trinidad ave. The male victim died as a result of the shooting. The motive to this shooting is unknown at this time. If you have information relative to this shooting please contact MPD immediately.
