Change @the Argonaut

Even if you've visited the Argonaut recently you make not have noticed a recent change. They have added some additional tables upstairs. So while you can still enjoy your beers during pub quiz, it is now much easier to grab a burger, or enjoy the seared tuna while comfortably seated with friends. It has a more restauranty feel up there now, but the upstairs remains strictly 21 and over [a nice feature if you need a little adult time].

That's good to know about 21+ only...the Argonaut was becoming a little too kid friendly downstairs.

Maybe that's because I don't have kids yet though...

Love the fish tacos, but bring back the po' boys!!

The Argo does have the fried oyster roll, which is basically a po-boy by another name. Also try the andouille sausage po-boy. You might also like the gumbo if you are in a Cajun type mood.

Sorry, no rumors yet of Acadiana opening an H Street branch. And if you head to Eastern Market, I've been advised to not jump on the alligator boudin.

It might lift your heart to know that the "R” month thing is just a myth as far as raw oysters go, so you can enjoy all types of east coast oysters at various places around town.
