Weekend Hours for Philadelphia Water Ice

These are the new winter hours [originally they were going to close for the winter, but popular demand prompted the change].
Fri, Sat, Sun 12pm-10pm. These are hours are effective starting 11/14/08.
Normal hours are in effect this weekend.

Also, the same woman owns the Spoiled and Rotten Kids Boutique & Spa upstairs. She writes that the boutique and spa will be open 7 days a week 11:00-7:00pm.

Philadelphia Water Ice is located at 1204 H Street NE. They have terrific cheesesteaks, so give them a try if you haven't yet.

Oh, Philadelphia Water Ice.

Ok. Is nice topic.

But what about poo poo?

I am envious he have more than one house, other than a tiny, unkempt, badly painted house like me. (But he has no bicycle like I do!)

Can we please turn this back into a forum for me to try and tackle my inadequacies with regard to the poo-master?

Why do we always discuss new businesses, prostitution, etc.?

I am afraid to speak with poo poo in real life, and must rely on this forum to address my inadequacies!

I am not jealous, I am just kind of stupid, and afraid.

I'm sorry. I'ts early.

I really want a life some day.

Thank you!

Philadelphia Water Ice is on my I've Lived in Trinidad for Four Years and I Still Haven't Gone There list. I need to grab a turkey burger there or something some time soon and end the lameness.

I always thought it was kind of neat that the owner took the winter off - sounded like a dream come true to me. I suppose with the kids' clothing store open year-round, it doesn't make sense to close down the food operation, particularly if the demand is there. I can vouch for the Philly's - very tasty.

Yeahhh. I thought I was going to have to wait until April but I guess because her kids spa is open all year is why she is opening on weekends. But Im just happy Beautiful Kids Boutique and Great Cheesesteak...chicken cheesesteak excellent

She does have another Philadelphia Water Ice store on Georgia near Howard. She never really had the winter off. Her cheese steaks do rule.

do you think maybe you can call proprietor's by their name rather than by their gender? Is it really that hard to do???

I don't know her name. Just that she works there every day, is super nice, and makes a terrific cheese steak. That more than can be said for a lot of us.

So NE Diva
what is her name? Noticed you didn't use it.

The owner of Philadelphia Water Ice and Spoiled & Rotten Kids Boutique is named Khidija, and she is a friend of mine. Thanks for continuing to support her businesses!

Walking back from another failed attempt at getting Taylor's (but I will keep trying cause the sandwiches are great) I noticed a sign advertising the coming of Rita's to the building currently plastered with Kwame Brown signs. It was a small sign, but it seemed bonified. Now I love Rita's, and while they prob. won't serve any food, this is not good news for Philly Water Ice, right?

According to Rita's web site, they are definitely expanding to H Street NE as well as H Street in Chinatown. There is one already on Rhode Island avenue NE.

behind Nappa, if you know anything about Rita Ice you know that it doesnt taste better than Phila Ice. There just a bigger Franchise. Also Phila Ice has Food and the best Philly Cheesesteaks around, so I wouldnt worry!
