Sorry to be off topic- but I visited Tropica and I must say, they have one of the bigger spaces on H steet and felt like it went to waste. That place had so much more potential that its current use. Just my 2 cents.

My feeling from two times getting food there is that you get a boatload of tasty food for a low price. If everybody goes and takes advantage of that and eats there, the space will be more fully utilized. Problem solved :-)

I second Rob's defense of Tropicana. Clean, nice staff, inexpensive and tasty filling food--I think the place is a great addition to H Street. There are still plenty of empty H street spaces to be filled.

I love and frequent Napa, but I'm not always looking to drop $23 on Sirloin of Venison with Hunter Sauce, Root Vegetables and Braised Greens every time I go out to eat on H.

Back on topic--can't wait to sample that new menu!

does anyone know the hours for the napa pre-theater menu? do you really have to be attending the theater to get that awesome deal? do you have to show a ticket? how does it work?

The Pre Theater menu is available from 5:00 PM-7:00 PM and no, you don’t have to go to the Theater to order from it. By the way, we have also changed our tapas menu and happy hour is still Tuesday- Saturday from 5-8.
Cheers!
