NBC4 reports on the incident (the kid is okay). A neighborhood source reports that the dogs were taken away for a couple of days, but have now returned. The same source claims that these dogs recently bit another neighbor, but that attack went unreported.

Did any one check to see if they were licensed?
Animal control did take the dogs for a couple of days - hopefully they checked the paperwork.
