Great Ideal, Good Concept again, the kids need it! 1st I ever heard of a Spa Camp for Kids
There is something really strange about this "camp". Too bad DC doesn't require a license for camps...lots of potential issues to think of: adult to child ratios, background checks on the adults, safety standards, are the adults trained in CPR.....I wouldn't feel comfortable turning my child over to this type of "camp"
So why do you assume that there haven't been background checks, ect? me smells a racist rat..
Racism? That is preposterous, pathetic, and lazy. And at some point all of these call-outs of racism, reflect the callers own actual racism.
However, the question is valid...why would anon 8:28 just assume that the appropriate ratios and safety issues, CPR training, and background checks not be present. If you want that info, inquire with the camp...don't post your idiotic stream of consciousness here. What you would feel comfortable with is irrelevant because you are apparently too neurotic to find out specifics.
Lastly, spa camp? Really? Is it really a worthwhile skill to teach your child how to make spa products at home and spa etiquette? I wish it success, but I, as a parent, did not see enough worth in the curriculum, as it were. What happened to sports camps, and camps where kids play outside?
I dont think it is about making spa product at home, do you know what charm school is all about.I believe every child would benefit from this camp.
