We went there on Thanksgiving eve and while Souk was not busy, I did appreciate that time was taken to prepare our dishes wonderfully. We will definately be going back this week for more greek salads and another enticing choice from the menu. Did I say yummy!!!!!
anon: the streetscape project has been planned since about 2002...it finally began last summer and is progressing pretty much as planned. It includes new sidewalks, lighting, streetlights, trees and of course streetcars... here's the ddot info http://ddot.dc.gov/ddot/cwp/view,a,1249,q,637920,ddotNav_GID,1754,ddotNav,|34241|.asp
Guys, please be polite. Remember that these people are your neighbors. I ask also that anonymous users leave some kind of tag [e.g. big green cat] for the sake of being able to follow a thread. Be respectful and have fun.

ReplyDeleteSaw road construction the 12th block on H-street. Does anyone have idea what's going on?
ReplyDeleteanon-
ReplyDeleteHmm it's a big mystery. The entire street seemed in great shape just yesterday!
