Dangerously Delicious Pies
They aren't fully open yet at the H Street location, but they are taking holiday pre-orders.
And you can also get a deal on the newly opened house of pies via Living Social.

Ugggghhh why aren't they OPEEEEEN? I can't wait anymore!
good news! while the INSIDE won't open to customers (for lounging, munching, etc.) until the beginning of January '10, you can still ORDER PIES NOW! no joke. they're doing pies for Christmas if ordered by the morning of Monday the 21st. If you get more than 5 pies, you get FREE local delivery. Otherwise I think it's pick-up/take-out. orders@dangerouspiesdc.com
CUSTOMER SERVICE TERRIBLE Called Dangerously Delicious in Washington, DC to order a Strawberry Rhubarb pie for pickup on Thursday, December 24 at 6:00pm. Left work telephone number. While in route to bakery, called twice to verify pickup. Received a voicemail message stating the line was busy. When I arrived, rang the doorbell and banged on the door with no response. I called the (703) number located on door with message. I waited 5 minutes and then took the bus to Whole Foods. Still waiting for a call explaining why the pie was not ready. Luckly, I did not pay in advance but if it was required I would have paid with a credit card. Also the internet ad stating DD would be open on Thursday, December 24 from 9:00pm-9:00am is bogus. Cannot comment on the taste of any pie baked from this establishment because I was not given the opportunity. Not impressed. Anyone have a recommendaton for a bakery that bakes fresh Strawberry Rhubarb pie?
