Regarding the 8 month pregnant lady, my wife read on the "Moms on the Hill" message board yesterday that the lady is okay. She had her 2 year old son with her during the mugging. Unfortunately, her son required stitches on his head as it hit the sidewalk. He's fine physically otherwise according to the post. This act of violence is pure evil, I hope for the best for the lady, her son and little one of the way. As for solutions on how to prevent these acts, I think we are all listening.
We have a toddler and a new born and have been trying to think of safe ways my wife can load them into the car during the day when I'm at work.
Disgusted: are you being serious? There are a zillion posts about the H Street Shuttle because there's *controversy* over it. There's no disagreement here, so there's nothing to debate.
Were you expecting some people here to be in *favor* of carjackings? Are you disappointed that that's not the case?
