There's a lot of stuff going on with the Intersections Arts Festival at the Atlas. Here's a bit of info:

A "New America" is center stage at the Atlas in DC this winter.  INTERSECTIONS: A New AmericaArts Festival runs weekends, February 19 - March 7, 2010, at the Atlas Performing Arts Center, 1333 H Street NE.  This multi-disciplinary, multi-ethnic and multi-generational line-up of more than fifty arts events celebrates the cultural dynamics shaping America today. Grammy nominee Christylez Bacon presents In Pursuit of Me: The Story of Christylez Bacon, a world premiere merging music and theatre by one of Washington hip-hop's rising stars.
Jay Walkers at the Intersection, a collaborative concert featuring Grammy-winner Jon Carroll's  pop and R & B, Nigerian artistTosin Aribisala's jazz and Michael Shereikis' Afro-Funk.
Harmony Crossing, an a cappella romp from gospel to "road-tunes" from DC's Wammie-winning sextet,Reverb.

Carmen at Intersections



Music Meets Film: CARMEN at the Intersection Live musicians paired with a screening of Carlos Sauro's film that resets the world's most famous opera in the passionate world of flamenco dance.
The Prep School Negro: Edmund Burke School presents a film that takes a poignant and unapologetic look at the life of a young man who, through a scholarship, moved from poverty to prep school.
GALA Hispanic Theatre Presents Paso Nuevo The Legend of Izquic(2006), A compelling documentary-fiction film tracing the lives of local teenagers who form part of an at-risk theatre collective in Columbia Heights DC.
