speaking of live links, the dangerously delicious DC page has been updated but doesn't tell me if it is actually open. Yes? www.dangerouspiesdc.com

I plan to call tomorrow and see if I can finally get a pie... and use that gift certificate I bought!

If Scott Hamilton and his staff as are as big an asshole as they are to the other businesses that compete with Hamiltons, I warn every other restaurant owner to watch their back.

Scott and his staff's petty antics at Hamilton's and their on-going defacing of their neighbors' yelp comments, making up phoney accusations and calling the DC gov at with lies to screw with their competition is not the type of business neighbor H street needs to suffer.

I warn anything who Scott may see as competition to watch their back. He's the business equivalent of Bobby Pittman.

Wow, Anonymous 4:25, if you're going to use libelous language about someone, use a name or back up your statement.

I've had nothing but fantastic experiences with Hamilton's, and I wish Scott and Steve the best of luck!

I've always enjoyed Hamilton's, although the food is often mediocre (except for their tots - just as good as Sticky Rice, but missing the great tot sauce). It sounds like this place will have better food, and of course it's much closer to my house. I think I'll be there often!

Anonymous@1:04--H Street Country Club's food is pretty much Mexican. It may not have sombreros hanging from the ceiling, but the freshly-made guacamole is pretty tasty.

Upstairs at H street County club has the best Mexican food on the hill. However, it is not that goopy stuff that Taco Bell sells.

Soul Searcher: this page will show you how to make a link in your post, so people don't have to cut and paste.

anon @ 12:37,

i already know how to do that. often i'm just jotting off a note and pasting a link. yeah, i know the html code is only a few characters, but i've never memorized it and i always have to go hunting to find out whether it's <a=ref blah blah etc, so i wind up just pasting the link to save the time. sorry if i let everyone down with my link pasting ways.

Or maybe I'm just as asshole

LOL.

nah, kidding.

Hey, Anon 2/19 4:25, H Street is a seriously strong community. The neighborhood is great and supports the businesses. The businesses work together. A real sense of One-for-All, All-for-One. They go out of their way to engage the community. The community supports good businesses.

Yours was a poisonous post. We'll find out quickly if there's a problem. The ANC is strong and effective. Nobody tolerates jerks. If Liberty Tree wants to succeed, he'll fit in. If he doesn't, the community will take care of the problem.
Basically, no business = failure. Capice?

No, soul searcher, you probably don't have what it takes to be a successful blogger.

But you have qualified for promotion from asshole to asshat.
