Chartreuse Tasting @Little Miss Whiskey's

Now this is something you don't see everyday, and if you're a cocktail geek, or just curious, you'll want to check it out. Announcement:

Little Miss Whiskey’s Golden Dollar
1104 H St.
Wednesday, April 28th 6 PM til 9 PM

Chartreuse tasting with Todd Richman (Chartreuse Brand Ambassador)

Todd Richman is traveling the United States promoting the history and mystery of one of the world’s oldest liqueurs. Chartreuse uses extracts from 132 plants, and the 400 year-old recipe is known by only 2 Carthusian monks. Todd will be guest bartending, and during his presentation he will serve up a number of cocktails using Chartreuse while discussing this distinctive and delicious “elixir of long life”. There is no charge for entry. Chartreuse is normally a prohibitively expensive drink but prices will be cut in half to $5 for this special event.

FYI: they've also got a free bourbon tasting coming up soon, and Ryan Gordon of the Queen Vic is now showing off his grilling skills on the back patio every Friday.

Chartreuse is horrible by itself. Will be interesting to see what can be done with it.
