HSGS: Changes at Souk
H Street Great Street reports that Souk hopes to install their new bar and get the back room open this weekend. Apparently they can seat 20 more people in the rear room. Souk recently obtained a beer and wine license.

Good to hear. Souk seems to be getting their act together the past two months. They were touch and go there for a while. Burned pitas. Tangiers chicken sandwiches with no chicken, which has since been removed from their menu. Perhaps it was giving them issues with the chicken part.
Anyway they seem to have new and more staff and have gotten through the hard part with a customer base
I love Souk. That said, I was disappointed that when they changed their menu around last time they both raised their prices AND took the side salad off some of the entrees.
I agree that they are very much still working things out. Their website is a mess. I did some carry out this week and it was exactly what I've gotten before - but the portions, flavors were totally different. I hope they become more consistent.

Have they added flavor to their food? Cause that was what was missing during the three visits I took to test them out. Well that and service.
I was there Tuesday night after the wait at Granville Moore's and Sticky Rice was over half an hour.
The quality of the food was good but a lot of the menu was unavailable.
