I saw four being planted this morning on Oates, 11 or 1200 block. Very exciting. But who will water them?
There's a tree steward program where they'll give you a tree gator if you'll keep the tree watered. What about the other trees...are they on their own?

Rob: the UFA people left more than enough ooze tubes with us when the finished the planting. We have over a dozen, and only 5 new trees on our end of the block. Send me an email (district.curmudgeon(at)gmail.com) and we can talk about getting some ooze tubes to you.

This block in the photo needs a police presence.

Yes, I do agree with the comments on "This block in the photo needs a police presence”...this is real .
You have senior citizens in those home having their grow adult there living in the basement they don’t work they just sitting holding up the block…its so sad..when you walk by.. there are beer cans in the sidewalk next to the trees. You need to check out the back of the alley trash, beer cans. I would like to see Rose Liquor Store close down or stop saleing single beer. That store has trash at the front of the store up to Neal Street to Trinidad Ave and the side Street. Unbelievable
