As you may have heard, the H Street Shuttle will now make a stop on Bladensburg Road in order to bring customers to the Capital City Diner, Jimmy Valentine's Lonely Hearts Club, and Sullivan's Sothern Style Seafood. Here's a briefing from Matt of the Capital City Diner:
I'm proud to announce the start of a new stop on the H Street NE shuttle service at Capital City Diner / Jimmy Valentine's Lonely Hearts Club. Thanks to great support from councilmembers Harry Thomas
(Ward 5) and Tommy Wells (Ward 6), the new service begins this week. The shuttle runs every evening from Gallery Place / Chinatown Metro from 5pm til Metro closes.
A few specials from two neighborhood-owned businesses serviced by the new stop:
-$7 Soul Food Supper on Tuesday evenings at the diner (choice of pork
chops, chicken liver, or fried chicken, + 2 sides)
-Thursday Night Diner Pancake Challenge every Thursday evening (eat
10, and they're free, and we'll put your photo up; lose and it's only $10)
-Friday night PBR Countdown at Jimmy Valentine's Lonely Hearts Club
(1103 Bladensburg Rd NE). $1 PBR Tallboys from 8-9, $2 from 9-10pm,
price up $1/hour until midnight
-$5 fish fry Friday evening at the Diner (make it a dinner platter
for just $7.50)
Here's a clipping from the shuttle schedule.
As you can see, the shuttle stops at each stop heading east every half hour, and does the same thing when it goes back west. It starts running at 5pm and runs until midnight Sun-Thur, and until 3am on weekends. Click on the image for a larger version, or check out Matt's simplified map.

Does the shuttle actually run on time?
where does it stop at gallery place now? it used to stop on 7th just before H and then make the right turn on to H. now you aren't allowed to make right turns at that intersection.
does it still stop there and then go up a block or two?
Has anyone actually consumed ten of Cap City's pancakes in one sitting? I'm stuffed after one regular sized order.
Dave the shuttle still picks up at the same place and then goes up to make the right turn and makes its wasy back to H.
U Street ran trial runs to see if adding the Bladensburg road would hinder it's ability to get to the Minnesota avenue stop at the half hour. It didn't, so the stop was added.
@jamie: Not yet. As of last Thursday, the closest anyone's come is 9 pancakes.
Is there a place to complain about the shuttle? Its always late and sometimes the attitude-y bus driver doesn't stop. I saw him pass by a woman with a stroller the other day.
U Street Parking runs the shuttle for the H Street Cooperative. You can send complaints to me jdemayo@atlasarts.org and I'll send them to U Street.
I have heard one or two odd stories about the shuttle not stopping so please do let me know. The manager is very responsive and they want the riders to be happy.
Was the woman at a stop?
It would be useful for the shuttle to stop at the top of Hopscotch bridge as a Union Station stop. Access through the parking garage is right there.
name one transportation service in DC that actually runs on time. So what if they're not always on time. Your comment "Does the shuttle actually run on time?" makes you sound like an ignorant troll whiner.
In case there was no sarcasm intended from your question, the answer is no the shuttle doesn't always run on time.

Have you been on H street lately? With all of lane closures, traffic, increased pedestrian traffic why are you asking if it runs on time?
Can someone make an app for the H st shuttle like NextBus. That thing does NOT stick to a schedule. I'm totally ok with that as long as I can figure out when to get myself near a stop when I need to.
if its a stupid question to ask if it runs on time, why would they possibly post a schedule?
