I played last winter and had a lot of fun, I definitely recommend it.
That said, I will not be playing this season as I prefer my indoor games in the winter and outdoor in the summer.
Off-topic, and Inked, you may want to move this elsewhere (or delete it, or anything else of course):
On the MPD-1D mailing list, Drew Ronnenberg, the ANC SMD rep for the area including 12th and G Street NE as well as XII, inquired about the details surrounding the shootings nearby:
"Is there any more info regarding this incident? Neighbors have reported that the people who were involved in this incident came from a nighbclub on H street in my SMD."
David Kamperin, the 1st District Commander, responded yesterday with:
"Although the victims had been at local club before being shot at, there does not appear to be a nexus to the venue. Because this is an ongoing investigation involving the suspects I cannot discuss motive, but again at this point the venue does not appear to factor in on the offense."
Just some info.
Cool,
thanks Chris.
I am a proud Team Captain of a Sunday Skee-ball team, the Mo-Skee-Toes, at H Street Country Club and I highly recommend folks come and join the fun!
We are currently looking for a few more teammates, so if you don't have a team and want to join, we'd love to have you!
