Just a guess: maybe set up for rehearsal for the H st festival?
The stages for the H Street Festival are being provided under a contract with National Events. They are being delivered and set up the morning of the Festival on 9/18.Hechinger Mall parking lot is private property. No idea what's happening there.
Groundbreaking for the new German owned supermarket.... Perhaps......
It was a DC Department of Parks & Recreation Event related to peewee football, a barbeque for the players and their families or something like that.
