I've been there many times for massage treatments, their space is great (it's in their english basement with a separate front entrance), and their prices and services are better than any in DC in my opinion. I've had massages from quite a few therapists who work out of their homes in DC, there is a home occupation permit that allows them to do so. They're usually better than massages at spas and gyms where you never know what you'll get.

I've never had a professional massage before, but have been thinking about getting one lately. To be honest, I'm afraid there might be an uncontrollable physical response that would send the wrong message to the therapist. I'd be too nervous. Maybe I should stick with a chair massage, instead.

I've been there too. Not creepy at all. The English basement is very cute/welcoming. Once you are in the massage room, you wouldn't know you were in a house.

Anon 5:40, don't worry about "an uncontrollable physical response." A professional massage therapist will ignore it as long as you do.
