So Palace of Wonders had its last pre-merger show last night, but you stop by for a drink and a dj night (tonight and tomorrow are suggested). The new Red Palace will launch around the 15th of October. In honor of the merger, I thought I'd share these images which I snapped about 5 years, and five and a half years, ago. Weird, eh?

Yeah. Strange. I bought in 2004, and can't believe all the changes! Btw, the hardware store on h is open, and it's not too bad! They have the essentials, and staff is super polite. I can't believe I shrugged them off!

Park's, right at 10th and H. They've been open since the 1980s. They don't have specialized stuff, but they are great for the basics. Yard and bike stuff is in the back.
Hey inked, both bars are actually staying open through the construction. We'll have djs on the weekends, but during the week swing by for a drink and we can update you on all the great changes in store. We're really excited, the downstairs bars are going to keep their identities, but the new upstairs space is going to blow you away!
If the downstairs bars are keeping their identities but the upstairs are merging, where are the oddities that were upstairs at the Palace of Wonders going to go?
Happy for them. Hate to see unpainted brick get painted though.
my fault. Just realized that was an old photo.
I spoke to one of the bartenders on the night of the last show. He said that the Red & Black side might get some of the oddities from the Palace, but otherwise would remain largely the same downstairs. He also pointed out a new double door connecting both bars downstairs. Should be pretty cool.
Chris, we will be putting a lot of the oddities back up (either downstairs or in part of the upstairs). Lee Wheeler will be putting his magic touch on the place.It's a lot of work but the end result is going to be really cool.
