Just a quick reminder that it's time once again for the annual Webb-Wheatley Elementary School After Care program fundraiser. As in previous years, the fundraiser will be at Jimmy Valentine's Lonely Hearts Club (1103 Bladensburg Road) from 6-9pm. A $20 donation at the door gets you some free drinks and food. Or, you can donate online (click the link that says "Wheatley After School"). All proceeds go directly to the program, and are fully tax deductable.

Pedantic question: Why are we calling this the "Webb-Wheatley" fundraiser. Hasn't Webb been closed down entirely?
