Former ANC 5B Chair Admits He Stole Funds
Disgraced former ANC 5B Chair William Shelton has admitted that he stole public money from the Advisory Neighborhood Commission. He must repay all of that money, serve 6-12 months in federal prison, and could be fined up to $20,000. His sentencing is scheduled for May 4th.

Hope he gets the full year. Wish he was eligible for more.

You can dump your items at Fort Trotten trash collection center for free if you have DC driver's license. Those guys at Jitt seem to be a rip off. $134 for a single couch and a cabinet??

You can clean your own house, too, instead of paying someone to do it for you.
As far as the price goes, obviously you can have some dude in a pick up truck take it from you, and go dump it in the woods east of the river somewhere.
JITT donates anything donateable, recycles anything recyleable, and responsibly gets rid of the rest.
That some people are willing to pay a bit more because that matters to them.
