Joe Englert, you'd make TR proud. A man of vision, a man of action, a man of drink. Any chance some of those Tribbles are yet lingering up in your folks' attic? I've no doubt those State College parties were awesome. Heartfelt thanks for everything you've done to keep DC's nightlife fun and not sucky. Keep up the great work!

Ditto....u rock on H street Joe.
Great article with alot of background to a somewhat mysterious persona.
to be honest, the article made me like him a little less.
not that it matters. he's certainly shaped dc in a way i like.
"You're likable enough, Hillary"
gotta respect the guy for what he's done in this neighborhood especially. my favorite one of his creations is the Argonaut
I miss 15 Minutes.
i don't think i knew how many of joe's clubs i frequented back in the day...15 minutes was awesome, though!!
You can always trust a guy who wears a toupee.
