Chicken & Rice Comes to H Street
We now have a new Indian restaurant on H Street. I'm not entirely sure that they are 100% open yet, but they have a menu and phone number posted in the front window. Chicken and Rice, which appears to specialize in curries, is located at 813 H Street (inside the H Street Connection). Apparently they also cater.

I have three experiences at Chicken and Rice. I will speak with the folks next time about upping the spices (too mild and too bland i.e. not complex). They do seem to want to please their customers. Their prices are quite reasonable and they are fast, many choices on the steam table.
H Street Connection needs to go!
Agreed. When is H Street Connection going away? It is an awful eyesore. It was supposed to be one of the first big new developments, but I haven't heard a peep about it in ages.
i thought the developer said they wouldn't start working until the streetcars are running. unless i'm mistaken..
