Foundry Opening this Sunday
According to today's Washington Post Express (page 24 of the print edition), this Sunday Yvette Freeman will be re-opening her (formerly U Street area-based) boutique Foundry right off of H St NE, at 819 11th St NE (rear entrance). We covered the announcement of Foundry's relocation to the area back in October, but this Sunday you finally get to check out their new digs!
With 3,500 square feet of rehabbed chairs, mid-century suitcases, vintage clothing and other unique items to beautify your home (or closet), you're sure to find something you like at the newest addition to the corridor. Check it out and let us know what you think.
Call 571-277-5245 for more information.

I stopped by around 2:00 PM on Sunday to check it out and the door was locked. No signage indicating an opening or anything either. Seems strange after a Sunday opening was reported in several media sources.
Anyone else have better luck?
