Did You Stroll & Roll Down H Street Saturday?
Anwar Saleem of H Street Main Street, and Charles Allen (Democratic nominee for Ward 6 Councilmember) pose in front of a pedicab decorated for Stroll & Roll
A crowd turned out for Saturday's Stroll & Roll event that offered free pedicab rides along the H Street NE Corridor along with an invitation to visit nearby establishments and enjoy local art. H Street Main Street (HSMS) sent along some photos I thought folks might enjoy (all photos in this post are courtesy of HSMS).

How many people other than the 5 persons in taxdollar-funded t-shirts showed up? What was the cost of this boondoggle? Is this the sort of waste that Allen supports?
7:21,
To the best of knowledge, Charles Allen merely attended the event that was meant to highlight businesses along the H Street Corridor.
Oh yes, I'm sure it cost millions of dollars to put on.
This was an event to help new business owners investing in our neighborhood - I consider that very worthwhile.
Legit question: Does Halftime have an established set of hours? Its website says it's open every day from noon to 2 a.m., but I swear the 4 or 5 times I've walked past it, either on weeknights or weekend days, it looks closed.
ANother legit question - does Halftime have wings? are they any good?
