Citi Pizza is Back with an International Twist
We were all quite sad to learn of New Citi Pizza's closing after the unfortunate death of the owner at the end of last year. Fast forward to about two months ago, and they managed to reopen as Citi Pizza. While I knew about the reopening, I hadn't seen a revised menu. I just got my hands on one today, and it has some items I don't recall seeing on previous menu iterations. BTW, a sign in the window indicates that they serve Halal meats. Here are some of the additions:
INDIAN CORNER
Chicken Biryani................$12.99
Chicken Tikka..................$12.99
Chicken Tikka Masala......$11.99
Palak Paneer.....................$10.99
INDO CHINESE
Chicken Chilli..................$10.99
Chicken Noodles.............$9.99
Vegetable Noodles..........$8.99
Chicken Momo................$10.99
...and from the appetizer section:
Samosa (2).......................$3.00
You reach them at 202-544-6292. Their website is www.citipizzadc.com, but I could not get it to work.

get rid of the graffiti, or i will never patronize this place.
8:29,
I think you're safe. They just got a new paint job.
oh, word???
i just drove by tonight. the graffiti is still there.
I wish they would have Puruvian Chicken so I'd have a closer place to go when the other Puruvian chicken place that opened doesn't have it at dinner time.
what an awesome idea, I never knew I had to have a chicken tikka masala pizza before but that sounds great! I am assuming they will use the tikka masala sauce under the cheese instead of regular pizza sauce. too cool!
Puruvian chicken must be from a country named Puru. I've never heard of Puru, where is it?
Chinese-Indian food is awesome, I hope the kitchen is good and they start making drums of heaven/lollipop chicken....
You can get a butter chicken pizza at Naan and Beyond on L street, it isn't on the menu but they'll make you one, it's pretty good. Just make sure they don't butter the bread before making it.
