Olive on Main – 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.

The Laurel Arts District Committee (LADC) presents a meet the artist with Racquel Keller. Keller is the fifth artist in this series of rotating showcases featuring original works by local artists. For more information, click here.

Gateway Arts Center – 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Artist in Residence, Jack Warner, gives an artist talk and will explain to guests his process and where his work stems from. Over the past four months Warner has worked at the Gateway Arts Center making art and participating in exhibitions. Wish him well as he moves on and continues to prosper in his career. Open Studio dc – 12 p.m. to 2 p.m.

Gallery NK – 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Join NK Gallery for the closing reception of Goskin Carey’s exhibition. Carey, a self-taught artist, found an outlet for her love of animals – especially horses – in the form of sculpture. Fotobazaar– 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

One of Fotoweek DC’s largest events, Fotobazaar, takes place in NoMa Saturday and Sunday; entry on those days is free.  Think of Fotobazaar as the Artomatic of the photography world with just about everything you can imagine on display.

Sunday, November 15

Union Arts – 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Join Union Arts for an open house featuring the works of over 20 artists. Visitors are welcome to explore the building, chat with artists, and partake in light refreshments. For more information about the open house, click here.

Joe’s Movement Emporium – 5 p.m.

This year’s Art & Experiences Auction is fiesta themes to celebrate the organizations tradition of Piñata Day. Not only will guests participate in an auction but there will also be a live mariachi band and salsa dancing lessons.
