Trinidad Neighborhood Association Pontoon Boat Trip
Photo from the TNA website
This is a cross-post from the Trinidad Neighborhood Association website. Please note that this trip is for MEMBERS ONLY. Not a member? No sweat, you can join for only $5.
The Anacostia River is a scenic and historic river that passes close to our community and is part of the watershed for our storm drains. TNA has organized a free Members Only outing on the river. Please join us as we depart Bladensburg Waterfront Park and travel down to the Arboretum before returning to the departure dock. The pontoon boat trip will take approximately one hour and our captain will share information on the history and ecology of the river.
The boat can accommodate 35 people. If there is interest, we can organize another trip later in the summer. Please note that in case of severe weather, the trip will be cancelled or postponed.
Where: Bladensburg Waterfront Park
Date: Sunday May 31, 2015
Time: 1:45pm
To sign up, please send an e-mail to trinidadneighborhood@gmail.com. Include your name, phone number, e-mail address, and whether you will drive or will want to car pool with another driver.

11:55,
That is true. This is more about the opportunity to enjoy the trip with neighbors. Also, the location is not Metro accessible, and TNA is setting up car pools.
