Thursday, July 30

Long View Gallery – 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Long View Gallery presents New Year/New Artists featuring the works of Rebecca Coles, Joelle Dietrick, Georgia Nassikas, Robert Ochs, Sarah Stockstill and Casey Vogt. For more information, click here.

Friday, July 31

Plaza Artist Materials – 12 p.m. to 2 p.m.
Artist Tony Zatzick will lead a demonstration of techniques using a new line of Liquitex spray paints and paint markers. For more details, click here.

Plaza Artist Materials is located at 1990 K St. NW.

The Walter E. Washington Convention Center – 6:30 p.m.
Visitors are invited to schedule free tours of the museum led by managing curator Joan Oshinsky but are asked to RSVP ahead of time. The Walter E. Washington Convention Center houses the largest public art collection in DC outside of a museum. For more information, click here.

Saturday, August 1

NoMa – 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Join CHAW for a family-oriented event at Wunder Garten, a pop-up beer garden in NoMa. Art activities will be available for children while those 21 and can enjoy a wide selection of beer. For more information, click here.

Wunder Garten is located at 150 M St. NE.

Easy there guys. The article is relevant, but I'm not sure what specifically one can warn people about other than being on guard and not displaying cell phones thoughtlessly. Not a great photo of the suspect. We do have our own artists. I just try publish the weekly round-up as it is sent to me each week.

There is a Hole in the Sky event tonight (ArtShow_13) from 5-11pm at 2110 5th St NE. Not in the neighborhood, but not far off.
