Looks like it's not too late to snag tickets for Maketto's (1351 H Street) Chinese New Year celebration at the Pierce School Penthouse (1375 Maryland Ave) on Saturday. Tickets will run you $99 a person, but that gets you dim sum, cocktails, an art show, and Chinese dragon dancers. Proceeds benefit the non-profit Caring for Cambodia, and Maketto's own culinary exchange program (discussed in this WCP piece).
