A couple of readers sent me pictures of a car clearly in the streetcar's area on the Hopscotch Bridge earlier tonight. It's not entirely clear to me how the car ended up in that location. I've heard no mention of ambulances or injuries. The car was later towed away. It is unclear from the photos whether the car had Maryland plates.

Damn shame if nobody knows whether it had MD plates because this is a prime candidate for the "MD Driver in DC" twitter feed.

The thing I find most surprising is how much distance is between the first image and the second image. If they made it near the station platform, they REALLY missed their lane. It's just train track that far up.
I blame DDOT. They should have put up no parking signs if they didn't want people to park there.
