The committee planning this year's Trinidad Community Day is holding an informational meeting tomorrow at Sospeso (1344 H St.). More than 500 people attended year's Trinidad Community Day, which featured live music, children's events, health screenings, and even a small job fair. This year they want to make it even bigger and better.
They are looking for:
- Sponsors (both in kind and monetary)
- Companies looking to hire Ward 5 and Trinidad residents
- Volunteers who can help out during the event
- People that want to learn more about the event and meet their neighbors!
The meeting will take place Thursday, May 4 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Trinidad Community Day is typically held at the end of the summer.
