We had a pretty violent weekend. I don't know the status on all the victims, so don't assume the are homicides rather than assaults. But it's disturbing either way. It started with a shooting Friday evening (the alert went about just after 7 pm) in the 1900 block of Bennett Place in the Carver-Langston area. I am told the victim was a teenager. That was followed by a non-fatal stabbing just south of 7th and H Street NE Friday night about 10 pm. The male victim was transported to the hospital with a laceration to the abdomen. On Saturday morning just before 10:30 am there was another stabbing in the 1400 block of H Street NE. Then very early Sunday (just before 1 am) there was another shooting in the 1200 block of Queens Street NE in Trinidad.

Watching the news on Charlotte its nice to see coverage of the rioting murdering whites for a change
is it wrong for me to be happy about the news *not* being about three stabbings and 2+ shootings? i think things might be improving!
