The Langston Civic Association will have a meeting to discuss the liquor license for the Food 7 (1830 Benning Road NE) store on Tuesday, Oct. 3rd. The meeting will take place 6–7 pm at 2109 Maryland Avenue NE.
A representative from the Alcoholic Beverage Regulation Administration (ABRA) will be in attendance to discuss the store’s record, explain the role of civic associations in addressing problem establishments and describe the protest process.
Members of the Association in attendance will hold a vote to decide whether the civic association will protest the Food 7 store’s liquor license. Please note that only association members will be eligible to vote.
There's still time to join if you'd like to become a member, and/or pay your dues online (Paypal or Venmo). You must become a member and pay your dues by October 1st in order to vote on October 3rd.
