Krampusnacht is this Saturday (12/2)

I hope this is already on everyone's calendar, but if it's somehow not on yours, add it now. The annual Krampusnacht celebration is this Saturday, and you do not want to miss this. The evening begins with a 5pm benefit reception that includes Santa and Mr.s Claus, children's activities, live entertainment (a fire show from Peculiarity Productions & a performance from the Foggy Bottom Morris Men), and a children's costume contest. Advance tickets ($15) to the pre-walk festivities appear to be sold out, but you'll still be able to pay at the door. Children under 12 years of age will be admitted free of charge with a guardian. It's a great show every year, and it benefits a terrific cause. This is a fundraiser for Santa's Cause DC, which raises money for local foster kids in the care of Family Matters of Greater Washington. The pre-walk reception takes place in the courtyard of Gallery O on H (1354 H Street NE).



At 7:15pm join Krampus, Santa & Mrs. Claus, and the drummers of Batalá Washington for the Krampuslauf (a walk up and down a stretch of H Street NE). This part of the evening is free and open to all.

Meet back at Gallery O on H (1354 H Street NE) for a 21+ after party with Krampus, Santa & Mrs. Claus, more live entertainment, a costume contest for adults, and music by DJ Scruggs. Still up for more fun after that? Head to the no cover late night after-party at Little Miss Whiskey's (1104 H Street NE) that starts at 10:30pm.

5:00pm - Santa’s Cause DC Benefit Reception With Santa & Mrs. Claus, Children’s Activities, Live Entertainment, & Kids Costume Contest.

7:15pm - Krampuslauf Walk around H St NE.

8:30pm - 11pm  - After Party at Gallery O (21+) with Krampus, Santa & Mrs. Claus, Live Entertainment, & 21+ Costume Contest.  Keeping the party alive and music in the air will be DJ Scruggs!

10:30pm - After Party at Little Miss Whiskey's (1104 H Street NE). 21+. No cover.
