A few weeks ago I mentioned that Wunder Garten (1101 First Street NE) will hold Winterfest, a holiday makers market, beer garden, and tree lot from December 1st through the 17th. The organizers have now added a lot more information to the website, including a calendar of events, and a list of which venders you'll find at the market which days. Winterfest features a pop-up café with rotating local food vendors such as Timber Pizza, Holy Crêpes, and CaliBurger, so there will be plenty of food and drink available for purchase. Winterfest itself is free, and you don't need tickets. Some of the events and workshops do have a cost or require registration/tickets, so check the website to be sure.
You can stop by Winterfest starting tomorrow at 4pm, and 5–9pm they will have live entertainment, including professional fire performers, for opening night festivities. Winterfest will feature an interactive art installation by local artist Hernan Gigena, and plenty of twinkling holiday lights, so it sounds like a great opportunity for some fun seasonal photos. Santa will be on hand certain days for photos with the family and your furry friends (check the calendar for days and times). Grab a seat by the campfire if it gets chilly, or head to Wunder Garten's climate controlled pavilion.
