Miner Elementary Parent Teacher Organization is hosting a Christmas tree and bake sale fundraiser Friday (5–8pm) and Saturday (9am–2pm) in the parking lot at 601 15th Street NE. They'll have balsam and fraiser fir trees in a variety of sizes, as well as wreaths for sale. There's a special discount for Miner families with 3+ years tenure, who will be able to purchase a 3–5 foot balsam fit and stand for only $20.
