Local Briefing: Art in the Alley Returns, Baked Goods from Stable, & a Camp Info Fair at J.O. Wilson
Mark your calendar now for the return of Art in the Alley Saturday, April 28th. The organizers of Trinidad's annual festival took last year off, but the move to spring should avoid scheduling conflicts during the District's busy fall festival season. Details should be released soon for artists hoping to participate.
Eater mentioned in a round-up that Swiss restaurant Stable (1342 H Street NE) will launch a pre-brunch Saturday and Sunday morning (9–10:30am) bake sale starting February 3rd. It sounds intriguing.
The J.O. Wilson Elementary PTA will host their fourth annual DC Camp Fair tomorrow evening 6–8pm. Representatives from more than 60 camps (arts, sports, science, sleep away, and more) will be present to provide information. Plus, there will be a bake sale. The fair will take place at the school (660 K Street NE).
