A man was shot last night in the 2100 block of I Street NE (Carver-Langston) around 10:48pm. An MPD representative later sent an email to the MPD-5D listserve indicating that "the victim was shot once in the right arm and once near his thigh" and "was treated at a local hospital." No lookout information was provided for any suspects. Anyone with information about the event is asked to call (202) 727-9099 or anonymously text 50411. This is listed as event #I20180131919.
