J.O. Wilson PTA hosts their annual Screen on the Green outdoor movie night on the school's soccer field (660 K Street NE) Friday night. They'll screen the film Mulan. Gates open at 7:15pm and the movie starts at sundown. The event is free and open to all. Snacks will be available for purchase with proceeds benefiting the PTA.

Rosedale Library Friends will hold their next meeting this Saturday (June 2nd) at the Rosedale Library (1701 Gales Street NE) 10–11am.

There's a Langston Civic Association meeting Tuesday (June 5th) 6:30–8pm at the Rosedale Recreation Center (1701 Gales Street NE). The agenda includes presentations from the Anacostia Watershed Society and Community Mediation DC, a presentation on the RFK redevelopment, discussion of Sylvia's Liquors (1818 Benning Road NE)/new ownership of Food 7 (1830 Benning Road NE), and community updates. Meetings of the association are open to the public, but only members can vote.
