Vendor registration is open for this year's H Street Festival, which will take place on Saturday, September 15th. By the way, the festival's website looks pretty awesome this year. It's amazing to think back on how the festival has grown and changed over the years. I thought I'd share some photos of some of the first H Street Festivals that I attended. Back then it covered a much smaller geographic area, rather than stretching all down the H Street Corridor.

I really wish they would configure the festival to push the bands down the vertical streets so the crowds can walk and to use G and I street as reliever streets.
It's the biggest festival in the city, so, let's treat it that way.
