A man was stabbed yesterday in the 800 block of 19th St. NE. The alert went out at 6:12pm last night. According to a message sent to a local email group by Lieutenant Peter J. Frenzel, police officers responding to a call for a stabbing in the 1800 block of H Pl. NE found the victim "suffering from a stab wound to his abdomen." The victim was "conscious and breathing" when he was taken to a local hospital. I don't have any further information on the status of the victim. This is in the Carver-Langston area.
